In the wake of Hurricane Beryl, the small businesses of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique have faced unprecedented challenges. To support the recovery and revitalization of our local economy, we are launching the RISE Grenada Small Business Recovery Program. This initiative aims to provide vital assistance to small business owners, enabling them to rebuild and thrive once more.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The RISE Grenada Small Business Recovery Program offers grants of up to $15,000 EC to eligible small businesses. These grants can be utilized in various ways, including building materials, construction labor, or business equipment, to ensure that businesses have the resources they need to recover and grow.

GRANT DETAILS

  • Grant Amount: Up to $15,000 EC

  • Eligible Uses: Building materials, construction labor, business equipment

  • Purpose: To assist in rebuilding, expanding, and enhancing local businesses affected by Hurricane Beryl

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To qualify for the RISE Grenada Business Grant Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a small business owner in Grenada, Carriacou, or Petite Martinique

  • Demonstrate that their business was adversely affected by Hurricane Beryl

  • Provide a clear plan for how the grant will be used to support business recovery and growth

APPLICATION PROCESS

Submit Application:

  1. Complete the online application form available below.

  2. Provide necessary documentation, including proof of business ownership, evidence of damage, and a detailed recovery plan.

Review Process:

  1. Our review committee will evaluate each application based on eligibility, need, and the proposed use of funds.

  2. Successful applicants will be notified within 30 days of submission.

Grant Disbursement:

  1. Approved grants will be disbursed directly to suppliers and contractors.

  2. All contractors must be chosen from our pre-vetted list to ensure quality and reliability.

  3. Regular progress reports will be required to ensure funds are used as intended.
