On July 1st, Hurricane Beryl, a Category 4 storm, devastated northern Grenada and its sister islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique, leaving no building untouched and destroying vital infrastructure. In response, Spice Island Marine, the sailing creator community, and a global group of creatives have joined forces to form RISE GRENADA. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness to provide immediate aid, rebuild small businesses and restore livelihoods in these beautiful islands. Join us in supporting the resilient spirit of Grenada and our sister islands by donating or volunteering today.

In the first phase, we are delivering immediate aid such as generators, chainsaws, and medical supplies to help stabilize the community. As we transition to the rebuilding phase, for every $25,000 raised, we will select a small business to rebuild, working closely with owners to ensure they come back stronger and more resilient against future climate events. This two-phase approach aims to restore hope and livelihoods in Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.

We are proud to have content creators from the sailing community and beyond volunteering in the affected areas. These dedicated individuals will not only help with rebuilding efforts but also document the entire process. Their content will showcase the progress, share the stories of resilience, and highlight the impact of your donations, bringing global attention to the recovery of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.

Over the next few days, we will be building out a detailed timeline on our website, allowing everyone to follow along with our progress. We are committed to complete transparency, accounting for every penny in and every penny out, ensuring that all funds are used effectively to rebuild small businesses and restore livelihoods in Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.
